AT SEA, Sailing The Caribbean Sea, en route to Cartagena, Columbia - January 8

looks like he wants to go back to work!
Overcast, 25 degrees, feeling a bit more motion to the ocean today

Another sea day gives us plenty of time to relax and do very little. Most of our days on cruises have been filled with early mornings and long days touring, but this time we have plenty of sea days. Over the next 94 days, 38 days are ‘at sea’ that is (as I mentioned before) if none of the ports are scrapped for one reason or another.

I made it to the gym this morning, no walk on deck for me today, then of course a juice and then back to the room for room service breakfast and some required deck time. Of all of the things to dd while onboard, deck time has got be my all time, hands down favourite! Reading, blogging, gazing into the sea can easily fill my day.

We are told that the sea has swells up to 8 feet…yup…these can certainly be felt. This makes walking and showering a bit of a challenge. I don’t anticipate feeling woozy at all. We’ve experienced rough seas in the past and after a few days start to wonder if we are feeling the effects. We’ll be on land tomorrow, so we likely won’t feel anything.
