June 20 – AT SEA, Cruising the Atlantic Ocean

Weather – 25º, a bit overcast

living his best life!
Steps – 5,012

Humidity – low

We started the morning up early, maybe because of the hour gained last night. Who knows why, but it was welcome because we had breakfast plans. Passengers on the ship with more than 200 nights sailed were invited to a breakfast. There were about 30 of us there. Each table had a staff member and 6 or 7 passengers. We sat with Fabio, the food and bev manager, a couple from New York, and one from England. It was lovely.

As I’ve mentioned before, we enjoy chatting with staff, they are always lovely and a bit of behind the scenes is interesting.

We spent the rest of the morning on the deck. Although we are on board for 6 more nights, I’m imagining my life without the wake of the ship, so we have to spend as much time out there as possible.

We were lucky enough to nab an outdoor table for lunch…on the wake! That is the best place to eat on the ship and to have a room. Unfortunately, we have become spoiled. We’ve booked a cruise for Christmas - holiday cruises are super popular. We don’t actually even have a room yet for that cruise…just a guarantee of a room. It would be more than a miracle to get a wake balcony room for that cruise. In fact, the ship we are booked on isn’t the same as this – this ship, the Voyager, has in my opinion the BEST wake balcony rooms.

After lunch it was down to the Coffee Connection for 2 Coffee Nelsons, then back to the back…of the ship.

It was 80s Guess That Tune tonight, which…WE WON!! We knew we’d do well, but didn’t know how well. There were 15 questions, out of 8 groups playing 3 had 100% at the end of the 15 questions. There were tie breakers which we knew 2 of 3, better than the other winning groups. Yeah us!
