Excitement for the day was going to be a pedicure. In reality it was the captain coming on the PA, right into the room at 7AM, to tell us there was trouble with the electrical again…ugh. We weren’t surprised. Since last night around dinner time, there were odd sounds coming from the ship. We thought they were something to do with the ship‘s
stabilizers. It was so rocky on the ship, that it seemed like we weren’t even using the stabilizers. Who knows, but when we heard there were problems, we weren’t surprised.

It lasted for about 2 hrs. Ultimately, we aren’t behind schedule.

it was pretty good
I did end up having a pedicure. It was great, with a great nail tech who was just the right amount of chatty. She didn’t share any specific gossip, being the professional that she is, but did talk about the drama that could and has ensued on ships…very interesting. Plus, we talked about life on a ship – what the accommodations are
like, medical care, dating rules etc.

While I was at the spa, Chris found spots at the pool. Just like yesterday, a spot wasn’t hard to find. Also, like yesterday, it wasn’t warm…18º, cloudy, and windy.

Georgio’s drink of the day was a Apricot Sunrise – vodka, triple sec and apricot brandy – good, but I think I liked yesterday’s better. Still fun to have a drink of the day, no matter what it is.

Georgio’s second drink of the day was a Blueberry
Zinger
…blueberry and crème de menthe…no, no, no – not good. Crème de menthe, does anyone really drink that? It’s like drinking mouthwash. I appreciate the creativity, but nope, no thank you.

I finished Jennifer Grey’s biography – it was ok, a pretty typical celebrity bio.
